What is Gallbladder Sludge?

The gallbladder is an organ and it is there to store bile that builds up before it travels further to the small intestine where it plays a role in processing fats and neutralizing acids from foods that have been digested. Bile can build up in the gallbladder and particles can attach to other substances found there, such as calcium, salts or cholesterol from fats. Gallbladder sludge is the result of the combination of bile particles, calcium salts and cholesterol crystals.

What Are Gag Reflex Causes?

This is the question a lot of women need to have answered ASAP. Nothing worse that a nice night at home with that special someone when all of a sudden you start gagging all over the place. If you know what causes it, maybe you could prevent it right? Good luck, you are still going to gag unless you train yourself not to, but you should still know why it happens.

Types of Cord Blood Banks - Understand the Difference to Select the Right Bank

These storage banks are mainly of two types, i.e. public and private ones. Normally, public cord blood banks are set up to facilitate umbilical stem cell research for disease treatment and for utilization in transplants of non-relatives. If you decide to save your baby’s cord stem cells at a public facility, they won’t provide you the link between your baby and her blood unit. Therefore, in time of need, there is no guarantee that you will be able to access your baby’s stored blood. On the contrary, if you store it to a private bank, no one else is authorized to access and use that particular unit without your permission.
